It was on October 12, 1868,  at the Diocese of Maryland, General Convention meeting in New York City, that the House of Deputies recognized the Diocese of Easton to be the second diocese in the state of Maryland.  On October 12, 2018, we will celebrate our 150th birthday, known as our Sesquicentennial.
