WD17 and WD18  Cathedral Ceiling Geometrics

Artist unknown, 1905

Description:

These geometric windows are practically hidden between the northwest side of the bell tower and the sloped roof above the main entrance to the church.  The only place (other than from a helicopter) that they can be seen is from inside the vestibule while standing next to the ladder into the bell tower. Even from here, the steep viewing angle hides the bottom of the windows.  Complete photos will require a taller ladder than I have access to so far.  I’m wide open to suggestions and volunteers.  Note the new color scheme of yellows and white.  We will see it again.  They are the hallmark of the windows installed during the addition of the bell tower and parish hall in 1905.
